5 Reasons Why You Should Do What You Love

If it’s true that you spend most of your time working, commuting to work, preparing for work, dreading your job, and wishing there was another way, it’s time to think about a change.

Just because you have an education and training in a specific field does not mean you can’t look for greener grass. OR, make your “hobby” or your passion, your mission.

Ask yourself two questions.

  1. Am I doing what I love?
  2. Would I be happy doing this even if I wasn’t getting paid?

I have always said if you jump out of bed excited to do ________, find a way to get paid for it.

We spend 1/3 of our life working.

I don’t know about you, but there is NO WAY I am willing to spend a third of my life doing something I don’t enjoy.

Only YOU can make changes in your life.

And here’s why you should do what you love.

  1. You will always be motivated.
  2. You will set loftier goals.
  3. You will challenge yourself.
  4. You will become a better, mom, dad, or friend. A better YOU!
  5. You will stop making excuses.

When you’re doing what you love, you feel creative, fulfilled, and happy, and you will most likely feel healthier too!

Start creating.

Take some time to sit with your thoughts, a piece of paper and a pen. Write down EVERYTHING you love to do.

Then, sit at your computer and type in the search bar…

“If I love _______, how can I get paid for it?”

Cheers to doing what you love!
