6 Ways to Be & Stay Positive

You reap what you sow.

In other words, your future is shaped by your present actions.

You can’t plant corn and expect to harvest cucumbers!

Our thoughts and our actions create positivity. 

If you’ve been feeling doubtful, uncertain, cynical, unhappy, or skeptical, try some of my tips to get and stay more positive. 

Be optimistic.

Setbacks are temporary. Find a silver lining and keep going. Often, there is something good right around the corner.

Don’t sweat the small stuff.

Good moods and happy vibes are usually snuffed out by small stuff. A bazillion little things can go wrong in a day, and if we worry about every little thing, we will need days longer than 24 hours. Stop worrying and get living!

Let it go.

When something goes awry and threatens to rob me of my current joy (and as it happens almost all the time to be “small stuff”), I will say out loud, “Let it go.” Not a request or a question, but more of a command. It’s a great reminder, and most every time, I listen! Try it.

Make your health a priority.

If you prioritize your physical health, you will feel better mentally. It’s a simple truth.

Start and end each day in gratitude.

When you wake up in the morning, be grateful. After all, you likely slept in a comfy bed and will soon be enjoying a hot cup of coffee. If nothing else, you can be grateful for that every morning. Living with gratitude on the top of your mind guides you to look for things throughout the day to be thankful for. 

Breathe like a champ!

Pay attention to your breathing pattern. Most of us breathe just enough air to get by. If you are feeling down, stand up and breathe deeply. Fill your lungs, hold, release, repeat. A few good deep breaths will give you put you in a better mood.

Think such happy thoughts that people crave your vibes!
