Stop Waiting for “Someday”

We all operate out of a planner called “someday.”

Someday I’ll build my dream home.

Someday I’ll take a vacation to Italy.

Someday I’ll run a marathon.

Someday I’ll get to relax.

While YOU might be waiting for “Someday,” “Someday” is not waiting for you. Life is happening right here, right now. It’s up to us to sprint towards all our somedays.

Dreams are a productive way to make plans if you use them for more than procrastinating. What if you took your “Someday” dream and devised an action plan to achieve your dream in 5 years?

Here’s how to start.

First, do you have a TGIF or a TGIM kind of mentality?

Thank God it’s Friday, or Thank God it’s Monday?

Are you looking for an escape from doing the work, or are you looking for a way to make it work?

Over the next five years, you will have the gift of 260 brand-new Mondays.

Imagine 260 chances to go all in and make things happen!

Oh, how I love a Monday morning. It reminds me of the starting line of a marathon.

Trained and prepared to run, I have my list of things that need accomplishing to get me closer to my “Someday” dreams.

Set a goal, make a list, stay the course, and keep going even when it gets hard, and you feel tired.

It’s OK to take breaks as long as they aren’t so long that you lose your motivation to keep going.

You’ll cross the finish line faster if you keep moving toward it.
